► Select a shape compatible with the shape of vessel.

► Use the minimum rotation speed for effective mixing to prevent spin-out, tumbling and shedding.

► The use of over-powerful stirrer magnets increases abrasion of the PTFE covering leading to particle generation and can also prevent rotation of the drive motor due to a braking effect.

► Differences in the size of drive and rotating magnets can lead to erratic behavior and poor mixing - not

generally an issue with solid state drives.
